JEFF UPSHAW’S DRIVEN INTERSCHOLASTIC ELITE TEAM

Program Overview

The DRIVEN Interolastic Elite Team is built for riders who are ready to commit to BMX at a higher level. This is a year-round program for interscholastic athletes who are Driven to train, race, and grow beyond the standard season.

Riders selected for this team will represent both their school team and the DRIVEN program through a co-branded team jersey while continuing to compete with their interscholastic team.

This team is for riders who are willing to do what others won’t.

Elite Team Commitment

Participation on the DRIVEN team requires a high level of commitment, consistency, and personal ownership.

• Full BMX season participation (all interscholastic sessions)
• Minimum of 4 races per month (including team-required races)
• 90% attendance at interscholastic practices at your home track
• Participation in the State Series and Gold Cup Series
• Optional: National races (8 required to earn a NAG plate)

This is a rider-driven commitment—not parent-driven.

How to Join the DRIVEN Team

Riders must request an application and submit the following:

• Completed application
• Interview during Practice

Selection is based on commitment, coachability, and rider ownership—not just results.



Program Structure

The DRIVEN team brings together interscholastic riders from across all participating schools into one unified elite program.

Riders will continue to represent their individual school teams while also training and competing under the DRIVEN standard. Expectations, communication, and team culture will be shared across all riders—regardless of school affiliation.

This program is designed for riders who:

• Support and elevate their teammates

These costs will not be collected until an offer is made to join the team and that offer is accepted.
